Job Description

A high-end department store is seeking a number of 7.5t Drivers to join its expanding team in Shirley delivering white goods and home furniture across the country, around 120 miles. You will receive many benefits such as in-house training facilities provided where you will learn the full role, company uniform and much more.

You will be working for a market leading department store which prides itself on its service and the quality of products. It has over 80,000 employees who are share-holders, the core of its business is white goods and electrical goods.

As the 7.5t Driver your duties will include:
  • Working in a 2-man crew accompanied with a driver’s mate.
  • Home deliveries of white goods and electrical appliances across the country.

To be a successful 7.5t Driver you will have the following skills and experience:
  • Previous customer service experience is desired.
  • A valid LGV C1 7.5t licence.
  • A valid CPC / DQC card.
  • A valid digital tachograph card.
You will be working the following shifts - PM shifts - 10: [You must Apply on line] :30hrs [You must Apply on line] shifts per week out of Monday to Saturday). Shift patterns vary and flexibility is key. You will be working between 33 to 41 hours.

In return the 7.5t Driver will receive a salary of £8.59 per hour for training shifts which will then increase to £10.51 per hour once training has been complete.
