Job Description

THE ROLE

This is an excellent opportunity for an ASSOCIATE PROJECT MANAGER with at least six years or more experience who is keen to join a large firm of construction consultants in their central London office to work on developer led projects.

You will have the opportunity of working on a range of construction projects representing the client for mixed use, residential and commercial projects.

You are likely to be MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB or similarly qualified.

THE CLIENT

The client is a firm of construction consultants with offices across the U.K. and some overseas.

They work on project management and cost management across a range of sectors including commercial, residential, healthcare, energy, industrial, education, rail and more.

THE CANDIDATE

My client is now seeking an Associate Project Manager to work based from their London office with visits to site, to client offices etc. as required by the project.

You will work mainly on developer led projects for commrcial offices, large residential and mixed use projects.

You will need to have a Degree or Diploma in Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Construction Project Management, Architecture or Civil / Structural Engineering or similar built environment degree and be MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM or similarly chartered.

You should have excellent client facing skills and have some experience of managing a small team. You should be someone who can "make things happen".

Ideally you will have been working for another firm of construction consultants, a developer or similar.

Projects are generally from around £10m to over £500m or more.
