Job DescriptionTHE ROLE
I am now seeking an Associate /Senior Quantity Surveyor, MRICS qualified to work join my client in a new East Sussex office.
You should be ambitious with good client facing skills and be keen to progress your career.
You will have the opportunity of working on a good range of projects for private sector and some public sector clients.
Projects are very varied in housing, education, healthcare, commercial offices and more.
You should be able to work without supervision and have excellent client facing skills. At senior level you will be ready to step up to an Associate level role or already be working as an Associate with another firm of PQS.
Our client is a growing firm of consultants offering clients quantity surveying and Project Management services who have been established for nearly fifty years.
They are working on a good range of projects in the private sector and public sectors for a range of clients.
They currently have four UK offices.
I am now seeking an Associate / Senior Quantity Surveyor to be responsible for the pre and post contract delivery of various new build and refurbishment projects throughout the southern counties including Sussex, Kent, Surrey, Hampshire etc.
You will need to have a Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or similar subject and be chartered with the RICS or similar.
You will also have the opportunity of being part of a new team and being able to identify and develop potential new business.
Previous experience of being able to manage others is also required.
You will report to a Partner.
It is essential that you have excellent communication skills as you will deal directly with the client.
Salary will be in the region of £50000 to £70000 or more (very negotiable) plus pension contribution, RICS fees, discretionary bonus etc.
