The Company is currently seeking a Bid Manager. The position is permanent and based at a site in the West Midlands, As Bid Manager you will be reporting to the Director of Sales Support and producing tender quotations to potential customers that is both commercially and technically complaint and be able to present the contents of the document in a well formatted and professional manner.

Key Features of the Role:
You will need to understand the bid strategy of the Divisional Sales Manager and be able to create bid documentation that reflects this strategy. Monitor and control the direction of the Bid Engineers in reaching the bid strategy within timescales using the lowest cost but most technically compliant supplier solutions.
Commercial compliancy and responsibility for bid construction with ongoing technical review of supplier's responses is a part of the role. Ensure that Divisional Sales Managers project bid strategy is met along with the Technical compliance of supplier's bids and the Company's Proposal.
Verification of overall technical design philosophy produced by bid engineers and supplier negotiation. The post is mainly UK based but may require short visits abroad for sales purposes.

Knowledge and Skills:
You should be an accomplished Bid Manager.
You will need to be able to autonomously and have a good knowledge of Bid management coupled with sound technical and commercial telecoms knowledge.
Excellent IT and communication skills will also be necessary.
It would be useful to have detailed technical knowledge of multiple communication systems and some experience within the divisional marketplace.
You must be able to show excellent experienced in bid management for Transport / Utilities / CNI bids, commercial knowledge and have sound people management.

What's on Offer:
A basic salary of around £70K + Pension, 23 holidays (plus Bank and Public holidays), BHSF - Bronze cover immediate benefit, immediate Death in Service x 2 salary and sports and social event activities.
