The Role

A large prestige motor group are looking to hire a Sales Manager to take a key role in maximising revenue for the company.

The successful candidate will have experience in managing a Sales team within the motor industry, preferably in a volume franchise and be able to demonstrate a proven sales track record within the motor industry.

Your duties will include:
* Maximising profit in all areas of responsibility.
* Translate business strategy into operational plans for car sales.
* Develop and agree on sales plans and budgets, accessories, overheads and all related items, to achieve marketing, sales and financial targets.
* Deliver results to meet and where possible exceed agreed budgets.
* Implement effective policies and procedures in order to maximise sales opportunities.
* Inspire, provide leadership and effectively manage staff in order to maximize productivity and meet or exceed sales and profit targets.
* Ensure delivery of excellent customer service within all areas of responsibility.

The ideal Sales Manager will hold the following skills and experiences:
* Experience within the motor industry at Sales Management level
* Commercial awareness and financial analysis
* People management skills
* Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure
* Ability to lead and manage the sales team
* IT literate with a full UK driving licence.
