Job Description

THE ROLE

I am now seeking a CHARTERED QUANTITY SURVEYOR from a PQS background to join a large firm of construction consultants in their central London office to work on a range of high profile projects.

You will join at Executive surveyor level (Associate Designate).

Projects include high profile and high value residential and commercial offices within central London.

A background working for another UK firm of PQS or multi disciplinary consultants is essential.

You will be involved in pre and post contract work.

MRICS qualified is required and you will need at least two years or more PQE.

THE CLIENT

My client is a successful firm of construction consultants mainly providing quantity surveying and project management services.

They have a large number of offices and are one of the best in the industry.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be a CHARTERED QUANTITY SURVEYOR with a Degree, Masters or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or similar and you will need to be RICS qualified and you will need to have at least two years PQE.

You should have previous experience of working on high value projects.

You will need to have good pre and post contract experience.

You should have gained experience of working in a client focused environment - working closely with clients, other consultants and taking personal responsibility in dealing with clients to exceed their expectations.

You should be able to manage your own workload and work with others when required.

You will provide leadership and mentoring to more junior members of the team.

You should have worked for another firm of PQS or multi disciplinary consultants.

This role will lead to an Associate level position quickly for the right candidate.
