Job Summary

Our client is a national provider of facility and property related services, with extensive experience in the public and private property sectors, including commercial, health, distribution, leisure and retail markets - both on static and multiple site portfolios. With over 500 staff, delivery is through four specialist operating divisions, all accessible via one point of contact:

To take the lead and be involved in the Commercial activity of our day to day “Quick Response” operations.

To process engineers payroll, ensuring that payments are accurately and timely processed allowing our payroll team based in our Enfield Administration Office to make the correct payments to our engineers.

Authorising payment of hours and any appropriate additional payments, ensuring that payments are made in accordance with our engineers terms and conditions and that we are able to recover such payments from our clients. Authorising with proper supporting documents additional payments such as parking claims.

Checking paperwork to ensure that paperwork submitted is correct and complete.

Using additional programmes such as our van tracker to verify that the claims being made are accurate.

Be the first point of contact for any wage query from our engineers.

To be involved in the day to day billing activity.

Raising invoices or applications to our clients based upon their agreed rates and their procedures. Using client web sites to upload invoices and documents as dictated by our client procedures.

To take an overview of the job to ensure that we have completed all the tasks on the order. Liaise with office colleagues to pursue any outstanding works ensuring that jobs are properly brought to a conclusion.

To further view the job to ensure that we are complying with the clients billing requirements and that we have the full and correct paperwork and costs are correct. Highlight to colleagues within Trios Group when costs are incorrectly processed against London jobs.

Bill out calls ensuring that we are producing accurate invoices and that all our costs are properly charged.

Review and act upon our Work In Progress, ensuring that we bill all possible jobs at the earliest opportunity and that any job that is not billed in a timely fashion is investigated and resolved, again liaising with our operational colleagues and sub-contractors as appropriate.


The commercial team are the “back Stop” to our operational activity and are relied upon to highlight any non-compliance or similar issues, thereby encouraging a pro-active attitude enabling us to meet our clients expectations.

Overall the Commercial Team have an enviable reputation within the Trios Group for accuracy and diligence in a challenging and fast moving environment and any individual joining the team will be expected to contribute to all aspects of our work whilst not letting our standards fall. Supporting and working with other team members, ensuring that we maintain our high standards. We will look for a strong individual who is willing, diligent and accurate in their processing, with a questioning mind who will “pick up the phone” rather than hide behind an E-Mail.
