We are looking to appoint a Customer Services Representative to support and assist our busy sales team.
This is not a call centre position - it is an interesting, diverse job function in a “real-life” friendly office environment.
The objective is to improve service standards and maintain high levels of satisfaction. Our aim is to go the extra mile and engage customers. Satisfaction is the priority, it creates loyal, returning customers.
Greeting customers warmly via phone, email or social media and establishing their reason for contact.
Identify and assess their needs to achieve satisfaction.
Ensure customer queries are being dealt with and provide appropriate solutions.
Build sustainable relationships through open and interactive communication.
Take payment and other pertinent client information.
Maintain sales admin’ systems and customer records and provide back-up support to our field based sales engineers.
Identify opportunities to up-sell and generate leads for all our products and services
Patience and a positive attitude is a must.
Strong telephone contact handling talent combined with attentiveness, clear communication and active listening skills are all central to the job function.
Candidates should have a calming presence with the ability to 'read' customers, handle surprises and be able to adapt and respond to different types.
The person should be IT literate and have experience with Microsoft Office technology.
Organizational, accuracy, mathematical and numerical abilities are essential.
A UK driving licence and car owner would be advantageous.
Full “in-house” product and system training will be provided.
