Job Description

Europe's leading independent provider of event security and crowd management services across music, sporting events, conferences and exhibitions is seeking a Resourcing Officer based in Sutton, Surrey to join its expanding team to be responsible for the volume of recruitment and selection of Security Officers and Stewards for events within their geographical area. This role is for 6 months fixed term contract.

As the Events Resourcing Officer your duties will include: 
  • Recruitment, interviewing and selection of casual event staff for vacancies, in line with company guidelines and HR best practice.
  • Pro-active vacancy management, in line with Recruitment Manager guidance.
  • Achievement of weekly recruitment and screening targets in line with the business requirements.
  • Management and supervision of Recruitment Assistants at various assessment centre sessions including coaching & developing skills, conducting audits when required.
  • Maintaining associated databases of candidate tracking and monitoring and highlighting issues with spend to Manager.
  • Supporting national projects and innovations.
  • Devising new and innovative resourcing solutions for difficult to recruit areas with an emphasis on cost-effective solutions.
  • Training, advising and mentoring of Assistants providing guidance and coaching on process
  • Attending job fayres and other high-profile events to increase brand awareness.

To be a successful Events Resourcing Officer you will have the following skills and experience:
  • Experience in volume recruitment and selection.
  • Best practice HR and resourcing experience.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels and excellent people skills.
  • Flexibility to travel and cover various areas.
  • Demonstrable planning and organisational skills.
  • Driving licence.
  • 5 years checkable work history.
  • Unrestricted right to work in the UK/EU.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Previous experience of managing a small team.
  • CIPD Qualification.
  • REC Qualification.
In return, the Officer will receive a salary of £23,000 – £25,000 per annum.
