HR MANAGER - £35000 – BASED CAMBERLEY, SURREY


The company is a growing plastics manufacturer with 185 employees which produces a wide range of commercial products for major clients in the construction, home appliance, automotive and associated industries.  This is an exciting position for someone with experience in supporting a period of significant growth within a large business from an HR perspective. This is a generalist role and you will be given autonomy in your business area providing a proactive and broad ranging HR service to the Site Leadership Team and staff.


The role will include:


- Employee relations, communications, resourcing and contract preparation.

- People development, performance management and disciplinary processes.

- Assisting with the management and implementation of the appraisal system, performance management, training programmes, learning and development and formal/informal coaching.

- Improving data quality, setting KPIs and managing HR and labour reporting for the business.

- Organisational improvement.

- Undertaking or supporting specific HR projects as required.

- Development, implementation, utilisation and compliance with HR systems and procedures.
 


To be successful you will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:


- A solid and demonstrable track record as a CIPD qualified HR Manager.

- Experience within a blue-collar or manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of   labour and performance management.

- Experience in Health & Safety management and risk assessments

- Strong communication and influencing skills.

- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and activities to strict timescales.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel to reasonably advanced level.

- High level of attention to detail.

- Be personable, with the ability to build strong, credible relationships.
