JOB TITLE: Learning & Teaching Administrator

SALARY & BENEFITS: Up to £15,946 depending on experience and qualifications
WORKING HOURS: Full Time


THE COLLEGE: Portland College is a leading specialist college; working with disabled people to develop their employability, independence and communication skills. They are situated in a beautiful 32 acre woodland campus in the historic Sherwood Forest area of Mansfield , Nottinghamshire.

THE ROLE:The Learning & Teaching Administrator will provide a high quality administrative support to all Learning and Teaching Managers and Quality and Data Team as directed by the Team Leader, Quality Data and Administration.

This is a key role where you will become part of a small dedicated team.

The Learning & Teaching Administrator will provide support for the Departmental timesheet completion, record staff absences across
the Learning and Teaching department, produce high quality documents and reports for internal
and external bodies, provide support to the Quality Assistants, provide administration support for
quality audits, be responsible for stationary requests and the signing in and out of equipment.

THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for the Learning & Teaching Administrator role will have some previous experience in and Administrator / office based position. You will also have a GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English. You will need good IT skills and any IT qualifications would be an advantage.


Key experience essential for the Learning & Teaching Administrator role:
  • Previous experience in an Administration / Office based role
  • GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
  • Live within a commutable distance of Mansfield , or wiling to relocate
