A great opportunity for a PRINCIPAL STRUCTURAL ENGINEER to join my client, a successful firm of consulting engineers in their HERTFORDSHIRE OFFICE.

You will work on a wide range of projects in the private and public sectors.

You will oversee the work of graduates, engineers and technicians.

You will have a Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering and be Chartered.


Our client is a successful firm of consulting engineers workng on civil and structural engineering projects.

They work on a good variety of projects for infrastructure and buildings in the private and public sectors.

They have several UK offices and offices in Europe.

They offer excellent ongoing training and CPD.


You will need to have a Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

You will be chartered and have some experience of managing a team.

You will need to have worked on most construction and building types including structural steel, concrete, masonry and timber.

Good communication skills are essential to be able to deal with clients and the professional team. Also experience of liaising with the clients etc.

You should have some experience of Tekla Structural Designer.

You should have broad based project experience as my client is currently working on offices, schools and colleges, warehousing, high rise residential, retail, data centres and industrial projects.

Salary is very negotiable according to your experience plus benefits and excellent prospects for promotion.
