Job Description

I am seeking a Quantity Surveyor in the Building Construction industry who has good English and reasonable or fluent German to join a firm of construction consultants and be seconded to Frankfurt to work on a high value data centre project.

You are likely to have a Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or other construction / built environment Degree with several years or more quantity surveying experience.

You will work "client-side" so previous experience of working either for a firm of consultants or a client is preferred.

My client is a small firm of construction consultants allied to a much larger firm who work worldwide.

They have an office in Berlin and work on projects in other parts of Germany too.

You will be a Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager, with good English and German.

They ideally seek an ambitious Quantity Surveyor who may come from a firm of construction consultants with good client facing and good organisation skills.

You will need to have a Degree or Diploma in a Construction / Built environment subject and have good previous quantity surveying and cost management experience ideally with both pre and post contract work experience. You may also be MRICS or similarly qualified.

You will work closely with the project manager taking charge of all cost management, budgets, contracts management, and more.

Excellent prospects for ambitious candidates to work closely with the client in Frankfurt and to be involved in a possible new office in Frankfurt to compliment the Berlin office and an opportunity for promotion as my client is growing. Salary is negotiable according to experience.

Please email a full c.v. or give me, Denise Neville a call for an informal and confidential discussion on + [You must Apply on line] .
