Job Description

Receptionist / Directors PA

Location – Skelmersdale, Lancashire, WN8 9TW             
Hours of Work – Monday – Friday 9am – 5:30pm         
Start Date – Immediate start available
Qualifications Required – GCSE’s at Grade C or above in Maths & English
Salary – National minimum wage

Lifting Gear UK are looking for someone who has good attention to detail, an enthusiastic phone manner, computer literacy and ability to work both under guidance and on your own initiative.

Duties will include:
  • Answering telephone calls
  • Taking effective messages and ensuring delivery to recipient
    • Meeting and greeting visitors to the business
    • Arranging meetings
    • Ensuring resources are available for all meetings
    • Typing up company communications
    • Mail duties, both incoming and outgoing
    • Entering details onto company computer system ensuring accuracy at all time
    • Supporting the accounts department in administration duties where necessary
    • General administrative duties including but not limited to faxing, filing, scanning and photocopying
    • PA Duties to directors
    • Reception Duties (vehicle is required)
    • Banking duties (vehicle is required)
 


Skills & Qualifications:
  • GCSE’s at Grade C or above required in Maths & English
    • IT literate – confident in using various systems
    • Organisation
    • Personality
    • Ability to work as part of a team
    • Drive and intelligence
    • Communication skills
    • Quick to learn
    • Driving licence and own vehicle is essential for postal and banking duties

The successful candidate will be given appropriate training and support from the companies accounts team. Due to the constant development of the business, there are definite opportunities for self-development within the accounts department
