Job Description

A property law firm based in Great Barr is seeking a Residential Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join its expanding team. If you are looking for the opportunity to work in an office based in North Birmingham this may be the organisation that you need to work for.

You will be working in a modern office, for an award-winning firm that is based in the North Birmingham area with easy access to the M6 motorway.

As the Residential Conveyancing Legal Secretary, you will be:
  • Supporting two partners with a busy work load.
  • Setting up client files and chasing client documentation.
  • Drafting contracts and quotations.
  • Producing high volumes of legal correspondence.
  • Organising client files through to completion.
  • Audio typing reports and correspondence via dictation when required.
  • Regular contact with clients, estate agents and solicitors.
To be a successful Residential Conveyancing Legal Secretary you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Previous conveyancing experience
  • An experienced Legal Secretary
  • Be IT literate with an excellent attention to detail
  • Be organised and process driven
  • Experience of working as one of the following: Administrator, Conveyancer, Paralegal or Law Graduate.
In return, the Residential Conveyancing Legal Secretary will receive a salary of circa £19,000 per annum.
