Job DescriptionTHE ROLE
I am now seeking a SENIOR CHARTERED QUANTITY SURVEYOR from a PQS background to join a large multi disciplinary firm of consultants in their City of London office.
You will have the opportunity to work on projects for commercial developers, residential, occupiers, education and more.
A background working for another UK firm of PQS or multi disciplinary consultants is essential.
You will be involved in pre and post contract work.
MRICS qualified is preferred.
My client is a successful firm of construction consultants mainly providing quantity surveying, employers agent, project management, civil / structural engineering etc. to a good range of clients in the private and public sectors.
You will be a SENIOR CHARTERED QUANTITY SURVEYOR who has a Degree, Masters or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or similar and you will ideally be RICS qualified.
You will work as a Senior Project Surveyor and be able to run your own projects and have good client facing skills as you will be seconded in to client offices.
You will need to have good pre and post contract experience.
Duties will include estimating, cost planning, feasibility studies, preparation of tender documentation, dealing with clients, monitoring the costs of projects and their progress in relation to the programme, participate in APC training supervising graduates etc.
You should have worked for another firm of PQS or multi disciplinary consultants.
You will have worked on a variety of projects across a number of sectors.
My client will pay in the region of £65000 to £75000 per annum plus car allowance, pension and benefits.
