Job DescriptionTHE ROLE
This is an excellent opportunity for a SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER or ASSOCIATE PROJECT MANAGER who is keen to join a successful firm of construction consultants in their CENTRAL LONDON office to run your own projects.
My client will reward project managers who "go the extra mile".
You will have the opportunity of working on a range of projects representing the client across a range of commercial projects.
Great prospects for someone ideally MRICS or similarly qualified who is able to manage and mentor staff and who has an interest in getting involved in some business development.
The client is a large firm of construction consultants with offices in the U.K. and abroad.
They work on project management and cost management across a range of sectors including commercial, residential, and more.
My client is now seeking a Senior Project Manager or Associate Project Manager to work based from their central London office with visits for meetings, to site, consultants offices as required in the U.K.
You will need to have a Degree or Diploma in Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Construction Project Management, Architecture or Civil / Structural Engineering or similar and ideally you will be MRICS or similarly qualified or working towards becoming chartered.
You should have gained around five years or more experience in Project Management in the construction industry and you will have worked for another firm of consultants, end user client or developer.
Ideally you will have worked on a variety of commercial projects from inception / feasibility through to project delivery.
Projects generally are for commercial developers, investors, funds and also for occupiers.
You will need to have excellent organisation and client facing skills along with being highly computer literate.
You should be able to run your own projects valued of around £10m or more and manage staff.
An element of getting involved in business development is required.
A U.K. driving licence and your own vehicle is preferred.
Salary is highly negotiable plus good pension etc.
