Job Description

THE ROLE

A great opportunity for a SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER to join my client, a successful firm of consulting engineers in a new office in BEDFORD.

You will working on a wide range of projects in the private and public sectors.

You will oversee the work of project engineers, graduates and technicians.

Ideally you will be Chartered with several years post qualification experience.

THE COMPANY

Our client is a successful firm of consulting engineers workng on civil, structural and geotechnical engineering.

They have several UK offices and an office overseas.

They offer excellent ongoing training and CPD.

THE CANDIDATE

You will need to have a Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and ideally be chartered as a structural engineer with several years PQE.

You will need to have worked on most construction and building types including timber, masonry, structural steel and concrete.

Good communication skills are essential to be able to deal with clients and the professional team. Also experience of liaising with the clients etc.

You should be able to manage your own projects, supervise others etc.

You should have some experience of TEDDS, Tekla Structural Designer, Fastrack Portal Frame, CADS Wall Panel, P Frame and MasterSeries Retaining Wall ideally.

Salary is very negotiable according to your experience plus health insurance, pension, car breakdown insurance etc.
