Job Description


A great opportunity for a SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER to join my client, a successful firm of consulting engineers in their HERTFORDSHIRE OFFICE.

You will working on a wide range of projects in the private and public sectors.

You will oversee the work of graduates and technicians.

Ideally you will have at least four years post graduation experience and be working towards becoming chartered or be already chartered.


Our client is a successful firm of consulting engineers workng on civil and structural engineering projects.

They work on a good variety of projects for hospitals, schools, offices, high rise residential, food production plants and more.

They offer excellent ongoing training and CPD.


You will need to have a Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and ideally have at least four years post graduation experience.

You will ideally be approaching becoming chartered or already be chartered.

You will need to have worked on most construction and building types including structural steel and concrete. Experience of timber and masonry useful.

Good communication skills are essential to be able to deal with clients and the professional team. Also experience of liaising with the clients etc.

You should be able to manage your own projects, supervise graduates and technicians.

You should have some experience of Tekla Structural Designer.

Salary is very negotiable according to your experience plus benefits and excellent prospects for promotion.
