Job Description

THE ROLE

A great opportunity for a STRUCTURAL CAD / REVIT TECHNICIAN to join my client, a successful firm of consulting engineers in their office in the centre of BIRMINGHAM.

You will working on a wide range of projects in the private and public sectors.

Typical projects in in value from £0.5m to £30m.

Projects are varied and include buildings for residential, education, leisure, healthcare, energy and others.

THE COMPANY

Our client is a successful firm of consulting engineers workng on civil, structural and geotechnical engineering.

They have several UK offices and an office overseas.

They offer excellent ongoing training and CPD.

THE CANDIDATE

You will need to have a Diploma or Degree or similar in Civil or Structural Engineering and have good AutoCAD & Revit experience.

You will need to have worked on most construction and building types including timber, masonry, structural steel and concrete.

You will provide engineering support on single and multi-disciplinary projects including new build and refurbishment projects in the public and private sectors.

You will need to have experience in GA detailings of Reinforced Concrete, Piling Layouts, Foundation Design, Structural Steelwork and other traditional types of construction materials.

You may be required to visit site from time to time and provide support to other offices.

You will manage your own workload and also be able to maintain records and archives etc.

Salary from £36000 to £42000 per annum plus benefits.
