JOB TITLE: Trimmers/ Operatives (Butchery/ Food Production)
SALARY & BENEFITS: Grade A £10.50 - £10.80 per hour Grade B £9.30 £9.50 per hour Grade C £8.30 per hour Overtime paid at 1.5 x-
WORKING HOURS: (4 x 10 hour shifts per week: 07.00 – 17.45
THE COMPANY: Our client a family-run group of companies with a farming heritage dating back several generations. Our core business is slaughtering deboning and rendering beef across six facilities in Ireland and the UK. We supply quality beef to leading retailers, manufacturers, food service providers and butchers across the world.
They are looking for Skilled and Semi-Skilled Trimmers to be based at their Campsie site in County Londonderry. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most progressive beef processing groups in Ireland and the UK.
Key Responsibilities of a Trimmer to include:- Derry, Londonderry
- Meat trimming operations
- Trimming excess fat off meat primals
- Trimming bones out of meat primals
- Finishing primals to customer specifications
- Operating machinery Butchery operations
- Breaking down quarters
- Removing Bones
THE CANDIDATE: Skilled or Semi-skilled Trimmer- Derry, Londonderry
You will be an enthusiastic individual with the drive to meet customer requirements to the highest standards of engineering quality. You will have excellent attention to detail, be hardworking with a ‘can do’ approach to the working day. Must have experience food production or butchery industry
Key experience essential for the role of Skilled or Semi-skilled Trimmer- Derry, Londonderry
- Must have at least 2 years’ experience in a food production environment or must have at least 2 years’ experience as a trimmer/butcher
- Must have knowledge of butchery cuts and specifications
